I realized that I forgot to put headphones or earphones on the supply list that I sent on July 17. Sorry about that! They do not need them on the first day of school, and they can use the same ones they had last year. I am attaching the updated supply list that includes headphones or earphones.

Also, the art teacher has asked that we request art supplies from parents since students are unable to share supplies at this time. In addition to what we’ll already have in the classroom, she asked for pink erasers, pencil sharpeners, crayons, watercolors, markers, 2 glue sticks, and 2 Sharpies. To simplify and make things easier for everyone, I was able to find all of these items in bulk on Amazon, which makes it much cheaper than you buying them all separately. The total came out to $8.02 each, so if you want to just add $8 to the classroom supply money, that will cover all of the art supplies that they need.

Some parents have asked about sending the $20 for classroom supplies and the $8 for art supplies through Venmo. That’s totally fine! My Venmo username is JoshEyre.

In case you haven’t already heard, our meet the teacher night this year is virtual. Teachers will be sending out emails tomorrow with slides to introduce themselves. I love having that open house every year, so I’ll miss it this year, but thankfully we’ve all already met!

Let me know if you have any questions about anything. Only five days to go!
