- $30.00 for the entire year’s supply of consumables and project materials – pencils, erasers, rulers, clipboards, homework folders, class folders, notebook paper, personal white boards and dry erase markers, Ziploc bags, glue, hand sanitizer, cleaning supplies, and materials for projects that we will be working on (Please don’t send any of these items to school as Mr. Eyre will purchase matching supplies in bulk). If money is tight, please don’t worry about paying right now or paying the full amount.
I encourage my students to bring chapter books from home to read during silent reading time and when work is finished (they won’t need them on the first day). I have hundreds of books in the classroom that students are welcome to use, but they might want to bring books from home that I don’t have. They can also order great, cheap books from Scholastic Book Clubs, which helps us earn free classroom books.
Please write your name on all of your supplies in permanent marker.
Please do not bring the following items to school:
- Hand-held pencil sharpeners. Somehow those shavings always get on the floor. I have electric sharpeners for both regular and colored pencils.
- Markers or pens.
- Stickers, stamps, or glitter.
- Toys or electronic devices (unless it is brought for show-and-tell, in which case it must stay in a backpack until it is time to show it).
If you have any questions about supplies, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
